Happy new year to all our friends, old and new!
We realise there are options out there for those dedicated sim pilots, not least flying your own sim at home but why not treat yourself to some time with a professional? You will find the answer to most of your questions online, by people wearing 3 or 4 gold stripes on their shoulders spouting on YouTube. They have to know what they are talking about surely?
Well , maybe. But I am an old cynic; the pilots I looked up to when I first learned to fly over 40 years ago didn’t crave attention or offer unsolicited advice, well unless you count the instructor leaning forward and clipping me around the head as I sat in the front seat of a glider whilst shouting: “you can do better than this!” (RIP Nev!). One of my instructors had flown a glider into Arnhem in Operation Market Garden during WWII, not that he told anyone or bragged about it, I only found out later when someone mentioned it in a conversation.
Anyhow I digress, well sort of. What I am saying is wearing a uniform even if you are a first officer at an airline with 1000 hours of flight time under your belt counts for little and the more experience you get the more you will realise how little you knew with that much time.
So what’s on offer? Well how about a morning spent flying our unique simulator with a 737 Captain with over 40 years of flying experience on at last count 38 types of aircraft including Instructing, banner towing, para dropping corporate and airline time at 3 airlines.
This is going to be a limited offer of no more than 3 times a month because it is a special price deal. It will also only be run during the week. We will operate an A to B flight including an operational pre flight briefing together and we can discuss any questions you may have as we go. It is entirely customisable to enable you to get as much from your visit as possible.
As always the best way to get in touch is by email and it will be a strictly first come first served basis, put “midweek sim slot” in the subject line. See you soon!
